Description / Information
This is a two day weekend workshop during which
you will be attuned to the Second Degree of the Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki
Healing System. At the end of the weekend you will receive a certificate
and manual. During the weekend there will be opportunities to practice
on fellow students. After the weekend ongoing support is always available
as I run regular Reiki support sessions.
The 2nd degree raises the levels of energy and was traditionally called
the practitioner level because it would be at this level that a person
would be considered adept enough to practice outside of the family.
The Second Degree introduces the three traditional Usui symbols, which
help to focus the mind in order to transcend time and space. The energy
is still drawn by the client - not sent by the practitioner. With
the use of the symbols the practitioner forms a "bridge"
between themselves and the client, across which the energy can be
drawn as necessary. These symbols are, of course, also for self-healing
and when old patterns have been released, the intuitive faculties
are greatly enhanced and the conscious awareness raised to a higher
level. Places are limited to a maximum of six to ensure individual
attention.
Lunch is included in the cost for both days.
It is a requirement that a person seeking the second degree attunement
has already been attuned to the first degree and you should bring
a copy of your certificate with you on the first day.
